Below is a list of all Teltronics NimBUS End-to-end Performance Management Probes. NimBUS Probes poll IT infrastructure data points at user-defined intervals for real-time availability and performance trend monitoring. NimBUS Probes are easily configured to archive its poll data to the backend NimBUS database. Once archived, probe data can be displayed in NimBUS Dashboards and performance reports. Probe data can also be processed against NimBUS SLAs for compliance reporting.

Performance Probes
Citrix Client Response Time Probe Performs an ICA login and monitors Citrix application response times. Allows for defining a set of Citrix ICA connections and specifying a time interval for each item defined telling the probe how often it should perform a response time check.
DNS Response Probe Monitors accessibility to DNS servers and also performs one or many domain name lookups to test the DNS service availability and lookup response times. It is possible to query the DNS server looking for a record (normal hostnames).
DHCP Response Probe Queries DHCP Servers and monitors response times.
E2E Application Response Probe Monitors end-to-end application response times. Allows for recording application transactions. It converts the recorded transaction into a custom application response time probe. The response time probe is deployed at strategic remote locations in order to simulate and monitor the end user’s experience with business applications.
Email Response Probe Monitors email services. Using SMTP, the probe sends a mail-message to a defined mail server. The probe retrieves the message back from the mail server, using POP3 or IMAP protocols.

FTP Response Probe Monitors FTP authentication response times.
HTTP Request Response Time Probe Monitors live web application HTTP traffic on the system hosting the probe to capture the true end-user service level experience. Allows for the definition of profiles for URLs that require page download response monitoring
LDAP Response Probe Monitors a set of LDAP servers by regularly querying them with a predefined lookup call. Alarm messages can be generated on response time and number of found records.
URL Response Probe Monitors URL's for the time it takes to download the page, as well as performing comparison checks on the page-contents. It supports proxies and user authentication.
